If you want to try mountain biking or you are a diehard enthusiast, then Cosses Country House is the perfect location to explore South West Scotland.  And we can have bikes delivered to our door for you.

We have safe secure parking and locked storage for your own bikes at Cosses. Drying facilities and a log fire, after a wet day, or a garden to relax in on a sunny day. Washing facilities for muddy clothes. There is a hose facility to wash down your bike, and always great food to re charge your batteries.

Fabulous cycling from Cosses Country House – many local tracks and trails. a favourite from Cosses is Ballantrae, Beneraird and Arecleoch Forest or part of the Ayrshire Coastal path and along the coast.  Maps are provided and easy local routes are illustrated. Explore the Biosphere along organised trails such as the 7 stanes trails – with sheer variety and challenge of landscape, from green trails to black runs. The International Mountain Biking Association states that Scotland was designed with mountain biking in mind.

Its a great way to spend time together and enjoy the outdoor experience, the fresh air and the amazing views
